[attr="class","likedoinfo"]When looking at the board it's not easy to figure out what goes on in each world or their characteristics, so this guide is here to help you understand what's what! Travel between the Worlds is available only to Magicals as each world lives in ignorance of the others. Magicals are forbidden from speaking about other worlds to anyone except other Magicals.
The Basics
The layout of Lyss is similar to that of modern-day Japan. Technology seen there isn't much more than what we have today. People get around in cars, trams, trains, planes and even the bicycle. Mostly the city is covered in buildings or living areas, but further towards the parks and some of the residential areas are local schools and plenty of greenery for children to play.
The Skyscraper
Within Lyss is a unique place known only as 'The Skyscraper'. A looming building that hangs taller than any other and that normal humans dare not tred. This effect is created through both circulating legends saying that entering the building will cause bad luck and a magical spell placed upon The Skyscraper upon completion by an unknown Magical. It was created with the purpose of being a 'training ground' for Magicals no matter how experienced they are. Unlike other humans, Magicals feel drawn to The Skyscraper if they desire to get stronger. Only Magicals work at The Skyscraper as training advisors, personal trainers and even just regular old desk staff. However it has been a battleground for many Civil Wars involving disagreements among the Magical Population of Lyss...
The Living Quarters
Just what you would expect in modern times. There are three branches where people can live; Peaceview, Prarie and Peth. Peaceview is upper-class living with shiny new houses, large yards with green grass, generally two stories with a unique design and a large, luxurious pool out back. If you can afford to live here then you'll be respected as one of the higher-class within Lyss. Prarie are the simple houses which are generally close together. Think the kind of areas you see as you drive down a road in a suburban area. Peth on the other hand is what you might call the slums. The rent is the cheapest here, but it is based on the very outskirts of town. Rundown houses and apartments with overgrown gardens is what you'll find here, but the community is surprisingly tight-knit.
The Population
Lyss is mostly populated by humans, either Magical or unique Powerless. For the most part Lyss has the most 'gifted' Powerless and isn't known for it's numbers in Mystics. There are no other species other than those listen within Lyss aside from Familiars which would appear as normal animals to the general populace.
The Basics
Your classic futuristic city! Cylan is known for it's top-of-the-range technology and the innovative ways it's used. Here is where you'll find Virtual Reality scattered and used for everything from advertisements while you're driving or video games. Glowing Skyscrapers cover the skyline for as far as the eye can see. Travel includes hovercars, teleportation and long travelators instead of walking.
The Training Center
Although Magicals are not common knowledge in Cylan, the Training Center was created by a genius Magical in order to help them with training simulation. Under the guise of a popular virtual realty video game, The Training Center boasts putting yourself in the shoes of a Magical Character just like the shows you see on TV. Unknown to even the Magicals themselves however, many Familials and even Bestowed Magicals use this as a way of choosing their partner or successor. The Game Center is a less-luxurious version of the Training Center.
The Living Quarters
Cylan tries to break tradition in that every section of the Living Quarters has the same standard. It only comes in one size and only larger if you need space for a family. The houses themselves have no yards or anything, they're just a room lined up against many other rooms. There are no exteriors for them. Everyone has a house for free. There are no homeless in Cylan.
The Populace
While the majority of the population are - indeed - humans, there have been experiments conducted by researchers in order to create a few new species. There were many failed attempts and only one success: androids. At first many Magicals were skeptical of the creation but as it turned out, androids gained their own personalities and purposes which allowed them to become Magicals themselves.
The Basics
Out of all the worlds, Hearth is the one most likely to be called Archaic. There is little to no technology here and although the populace don't know it, it seems to have come straight out of a fantasy novel. Hearth has stone elevators powered by magic and this is also the only world to have knowledge of the Magicals and what they do, although they see them as a branch of Mystic. Mystics themselves are most commonly found in this world as the study of magic is valued highly among the people. Transportation is available through Magical Animals, your own two feet and the stone elevators.
The Floating Land
The location of the Floating Land would change each day if it wasn't chained down to the Hearth mainland. It is considered the height of learning as those atop the Floating Land dedicate themselves to learning and studying the magic which Hearth prides itself. There are two different schools situated here; Mystic Academy and Magicals Haven. Attending Mystic Academy is the highest honor a member of the population could be given while those attending Magicals Haven are somewhat looked down upon. Within Mystic Academy students are taught to use the Mystic's branch of magic, similar to that shown in the olden days of King Arthur. At Magicals Haven classes are more combat-based and specialized for the branch of Magicals. There are very few students attending both schools.
The Living Quarters
Hearth's living quarters are all embedded in the side of hanging cliffs. They provide incredible view and anyone coming from the other worlds would agree that they are the most luxurious. Each member of the populace lives in the same standard of house although the interior decor is entirely up to them and is what they are judged on. However just above the doorway will be purple crystals embedded into the stone. The crystals represent how much magical potential the family living within has. If there were two crystals, there is a rare chance of being sent to Mystic Academy. Five indicates guaranteed entry. Do you have Seven or above? Then you won't just have guaranteed entry, but a private course to help you achieve your full potential.
The Fountain of Youth
In the deepest part of the Hearthstone Caverns is a mysterious lake that has been known as the Fountain of Youth for generations. This lake is rumored to have the ability to grant eternal youth, but no one is brave enough to try it. Perhaps it has something to do with the tree encasing crystals in the main cavern...
The Populace
There is no racial discrimination among the people of Hearth, but that may also be because many Hybrids live in this world. You will see many people wandering around with fox ears and tail or perhaps bird wings instead. Think of the fantasy races you might see in an online MMO. Magicals are judged harshly in this world, but fully acknowledged and they are allowed to train for combat. Mystics are seen as the high class.
